National Common Entrance Examination Registration Update

The NCEE Registration portal went live on Monday, December 13th, 2021, and will close on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022.

All registrations will be completed online, with the portal closing at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2022.

The National Common Entrance Examination, which is a one-day NECO examination for applicants to Unity Colleges (JSS1), will be held across the country on Saturday, April 23, 2022.

The registration price for Unity Colleges is N4,500, and if you made a mistake in your name while enrolling, the fee for name correction is N2,500.

Eligibility for NCEE Admission

The exam is open to all Nigerian primary school students in their last year who will not be under the age of ten by the end of September 2022.

How to Apply for National Common Entrance Examination Registration Online

Each candidate must pay 2,500 Naira (N2,500.00) to register for the 2022 NCEE.

To register candidates for NCEE, Head Teachers, Parents/Guardians, and other existing users must log in using their credentials. Users that are new to the site should:

  • Visit neco.gov.ng/ncee
  • Create an online account using phone number and email address
  • Activate the account from your email
  • Make payment into the NECO TSA using the following payment options:
    • CARD
    • BANK BRANCH
    • USSD
    • INTERNET BANKING
    • WALLET
  • Enter the candidate’s bio-data and upload his/her passport size photograph
  • Print photo card.

Most Importantly

  • Candidates may select any three (3) Federal Unity Colleges as their first (1st), second (2nd), or third (3rd) selections, i.e. one (1) institution from each of the three (3) geopolitical zones.

  • After a candidate has registered online, they will not be allowed to change their name, date of birth, or state of origin.Qualified students who choose oversubscribed Colleges may be put in any available alternative College, based on the Federal Unity Colleges’ carrying capacities.
